About Us

The Hammersmith and District Darts Association was started many many years ago,
The earliest date we have is back in 1958.

The Association was once made up of two sections ( men and women ) but now the old Mens section is known just as the association, and allows women to join and play in any team.  However, although the old Womens section is totally independent we still have connections through the committees and are currently working on some joint projects for the future.

The H.D.D.A. has had as many as 24 teams playing in the Mens section and our aim is to one reach those dizzy heights once more.

We pride ourselves on being an Association that is a true supporter to the Sport of Darts its players and supporters. In our Association we can boast of being hosts to EVERY level of darter from basic beginners to Super league / County levels right through to Semi Pro's. We cater for ALL

Our set up is designed to support the local players and local venues, although with the decreasing amount of Places to throw a dart in recent years we have found ourselves spreading our wings further a field (Chiswick, Putney , Notting Hill and Acton) to claim more teams.

The first Division,  to be fair this section is for the more serious side of darts, and with no automatic relegation / promotion between the two sections the second Division is found to be more for the enjoyment side however there are a couple who could quite easily cut the mustard among the top grade.

The H.D.D.A. is managed by a committee which are elected each year by the members, the committees job thereafter is to govern the rules of the H.D.D.A. which are made by it's members.

The Association is now the proud owner of a professional Competition set-up and this year we are trying to run TWO Opens, which will bring in some much needed Funding to the H.D.D.A. With the money we bring in we hope to bring the cost of enterance fees to the association down etc.

So if you what to be the best in West London, then join the Best League/ Association in West London
