The First D.M.J. Enterprizes Sportsman Trophy has been one by the Chiswick Memorial Club. This competition is a team event which is for Division Two teams only. In the Prelims on the 11th the Chiswick had to overcome the West London Deaf 3 - 1 then on the 18th at the Favourite public house they entered the draw with the remaining four teams from Division Two ( the Favourite "B", the Albion "B", and the Queens Arms) with the draw about to begin the Favourite "B" had to withdraw from the event as their couldn't field a team. The draw was then done by Frank Gray and John Baker which read The Favourite "B" ( bye) v The Queens Arms and the Chiswick Club v The Albion "B". With the Queens receiving a walkover the Chiswick then beat the Albion "B" quite convincingly, showing the form which took them to the Division Two title and into the Final. The final game of the evening was a closely fought out battle with the stronger team in the Chiswick coming through victorious. Congratulations to the Queens Arms in picking up the runners up spot and wall played to the Chiswick Club on another fine performance..
