Fours 2006

With the Hammersmith winning the fours for the last four seasons. They were once again favourites for the title once more.
14 teams of four turned out at the Hammersmith Club (side bar) once again to play on the ever so popular new set up.

The draw was made and threw up some interesting bouts, the Favourite AA were drawn against the newly promoted Chiswick Club and succeded in taking a leg of the Fav making it 1-1 but the Fav up a gear and went on to win 3-1, The New boys of Division two the Clematlee were up against the Stronger half of the Favourite B and came out on top in what can only be described as a tatical well thought out battle, the rewards for the Clematlee were the Fav AA, Needless to say the Fav AA came through 3-0. Meeting the Fav AA in the first Semi final was wellington after defeating the Albion AA, But unfortunately for the Wellie they never repeated the good throwing form they showed previously and lost 3-0.

In the other half the Competition Favourites Hammersmith were cruising through the half with 3-0 victories over the The Pear Tree, Favourite BB and the Favourite AB. And to be fair things didn't look like changing much, in the Final against the Fav AA the Hammersmith Club Four were 2-0 up an looking good, UNTIL the change then suddenly the Fav AA decided to take part in the final and won the next three and winning te fours trophy they last won 5 years ago.....
